This Yamaha 7'6" Grand Piano was damaged by Hurricane Charlie in 2004. Strings were rusted, the soundboard, plate and action parts were crusted with debris, and the case and lid were damaged. Smith Piano Service was commissioned to repair the piano. The piano was thoroughly cleaned, restrung, regulated and voiced. The refinishing work on the case was done by an expert refinisher. The owner of the piano was pleased with the result, saying "This is the only thing that came out better after the hurricane than it was before!"
